How to distinguish dry and wet carbon fiber?

Dry carbon fiber and wet carbon fiber refer to two different types of carbon fiber manufacturing processes.

Another way to distinguish between dry and wet carbon fiber is to tap or knock on the surface. Dry carbon fiber will produce a sharp, high-pitched sound, while wet carbon fiber will produce a duller, lower-pitched sound due to the resin content.
